The Strela COSMOS CO40CYB is an advanced 10 ATM mechanical chronograph. The watch design follows the well-known Strela 3017 pioneer watch models flown in space. Brushed sides, polished lugs, and bezel.

The black dial of the Cosmos CO40CYB model resembles the look & feel of vintage Strela models. Applied silver and green luminous baton indexes. Luminous paddle hands (Superluminova). A tachymeter scale, and a telemeter scale. A retro Strela design carefully cultivated over decades.

NEW: The glass case back is now included (Since June 2021). The watch now comes with 2 case backs. With a mounted glass case back. Please contact us if you want the steel case back or the engraving case back (not included) mounted on your watch instead.

The watch comes with a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and with a stunningly finished stainless steel case back. Engraved with the design of the preceding Poljot 3017 movement.

Movement: The ST 1901 by Sea-Gull (TY2901) is a very precise and strong running hand-wound mechanical chronograph caliber with 23 jewels. A smooth column wheel and a balance wheel that operates at 3 Hz (21,600 vph). A small second dial at the 9 o’clock position, and a 30 minute counter (accumulator) sub-dial at 3 o’clock. Finally, a sweep second counter mounted centrally along with the timekeeping minute and hour hands.

The Chronograph is controlled by two buttons. One (at 2 o’clock) for starting and stopping the chronograph, one (at 4 o’clock) for resetting the second and minute counters.
